Detailed Description
Well 46W175 was the first real-time USGS well in Clarke County. Water levels are recorded every 15 minutes and transmitted every hour via satellite and displayed on the USGS Water Data for the Nation website. This well is 80.4-feet deep with water entering the well between 66-68 feet. Water levels have been measured in this well since July 1987. Well 46W175 is located at the University of Virginia's Blandy Experimental Farm & The State Arboretum of Virginia.
