Detailed Description
Well 46W179 is a hand dug and stone-lined well in which water levels and temperature were recorded every hour with a submersible pressure transducer and data logger and downloaded every quarter from April of 2003 to April of 2011. Well depth is 36.3 feet. Wells like this one are susceptible to current conditions. The rust-coated pipe on the right of the photograph is the remnants of the old water system (probably a hand pump).
