Pre Storm Season Reconnaissance within the Colby Fire Burn Perimeter

At the request of Jerry Burke, Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Glendora, CA, Robert Leeper conducted debris flow reconnaissance within the Colby Fire burn perimeter. No new hazards were observed during the reconnaissance. However, the slopes that burned during the Colby Fire are still denuded of vegetation, and thus susceptible to debris and mud flows if rainfall intensities are high enough this coming storm season.
