• Discuss series options with your Science Center, Bureau Approving Official, and local Science Publishing Network (SPN), Publishing Service Center (PSC) Chief to determine which USGS series is appropriate to use for your published information product.

• Your local PSC Chief will assist you with all your publishing needs and provide you with additional guidance. Follow USGS Fundamental Science Practices requirements and your science center’s process for entering your new product into the internal Information Product Data System (IPDS); obtaining peer reviews; reconciling peer reviews; obtaining SPN editorial review of your text, figures, and tables; and Center and Bureau approval.
