Conversely, a progress report from USGS to a cooperator may contain only previously published interpretive or non-interpretive information, which can include an accounting of what has been done but does not present interpretations or conclusions of scientific results. Information on project progress can be delivered by USGS authors to cooperators in various forms including correspondence, email, and oral communications.
