Groundwater-quality data in the Northern San Joaquin Valley Domestic-Supply Aquifer Study Unit, 2019: Results from the California GAMA Priority Basin Project Groundwater-quality data in the Northern San Joaquin Valley Domestic-Supply Aquifer Study Unit, 2019: Results from the California GAMA Priority Basin Project

The U.S. Geological Survey collected groundwater samples from 46 wells used for domestic and small system drinking water supplies in San Joaquin, Calaveras, and Stanislaus counties, California in 2019. The wells were sampled for the Northern San Joaquin Valley Domestic-Supply Aquifer Study Unit of the California State Water Resources Control Board Groundwater Ambient Monitoring and...

GSFLOW and MODSIM-GSFLOW model used to evaluate the potential effects of increased temperature on the Carson Valley watershed and agricultural system in eastern California and western Nevada GSFLOW and MODSIM-GSFLOW model used to evaluate the potential effects of increased temperature on the Carson Valley watershed and agricultural system in eastern California and western Nevada

The USGS developed an integrated river operations-groundwater model using GSFLOW and MODSIM GSFLOW to simulate streamflow derived from snowmelt, the distribution of surface water based on the existing prior appropriations water doctrine, supplemental pumping in response to surface water shortfalls, and the resulting surface water-groundwater interactions in the Carson Valley in...

These data were collected during a travel time and dissolved oxygen study along a 1-mile reach of the Blue River downstream from 58th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The study was a cooperative effort between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Urban Waters Federal Partnership program, and the Kansas City, Missouri, Water Services Department. Lake Ontario Water Quality and Velocity Transect Data 2015-18 Lake Ontario Water Quality and Velocity Transect Data 2015-18

From May of 2015 through September of 2018, water-quality were collected at 178 locations and velocity data were collected along 7 transects from select tributaries, embayments, and nearshore lake locations along New York's Lake Ontario waterfront in support of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and the Lakewide Action Management Plan. These data include: depth, velocity magnitude...

Predicted Calving and Post-calving Season Resource Use of the Porcupine Caribou Herd During 2012–2018 With Future Projections for the 2030s, 2040s, and 2050s Predicted Calving and Post-calving Season Resource Use of the Porcupine Caribou Herd During 2012–2018 With Future Projections for the 2030s, 2040s, and 2050s

This dataset contains rasters and polygon shapefiles related to predicted resource use of the Porcupine Caribou Herd (PCH) during the calving (26 May-10 June) and post-calving (11-30 June) seasons in Alaska and the Yukon Territory. Resource selection was analyzed for each season using random forest models, which compared female caribou GPS collar locations (2012-2018) to available...
