Mars 2020 Terrain Relative Navigation HiRISE DTM Mosaic Mars 2020 Terrain Relative Navigation HiRISE DTM Mosaic

The Mars 2020 rover will explore Jezero crater, Mars to investigate an ancient delta for evidence of past microbial life and to better understand the geologic history of the region. The landing system onboard Mars 2020 will use technology developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) called Terrain Relative Navigation (TRN), which will enable the spacecraft to autonomously avoid...

Mars 2020 Terrain Relative Navigation Context Camera Orthorectified Image Mosaic Mars 2020 Terrain Relative Navigation Context Camera Orthorectified Image Mosaic

This is a visible image mosaic generated from the Context Camera (CTX) images from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter mission. This product is the Lander Visions System (LVS) map that will be onboard the spacecraft and will be the “truth” dataset that TRN will use to orient itself relative to the surface during Entry, Decent, and Landing. The images were orthorectified using digital terrain...

RiverWare model outputs for flood calculations along the Arkansas River for a flood event in eastern and Northeastern Oklahoma during May-June 2019 RiverWare model outputs for flood calculations along the Arkansas River for a flood event in eastern and Northeastern Oklahoma during May-June 2019

As much as 22 inches of rain fell in Oklahoma in May 2019, resulting in historic flooding along the Arkansas River and its tributaries in eastern and northeastern Oklahoma. The flooding along the Arkansas River and its tributaries began in May continued into June 2019. Peaks of record were measured at nine U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) streamgages...

Data for generating statistical maps of soil lanthanum concentrations in the conterminous United States Data for generating statistical maps of soil lanthanum concentrations in the conterminous United States

The product data are six statistics that were estimated for the chemical concentration of lanthanum in the soil C horizon of the conterminous United States (Smith and others, 2013). The estimates are made at 9998 locations that are uniformly distributed across the conterminous United States. The six statistics are the mean for the isometric log-ratio transform of the concentrations, the...
