Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Basic Hydrodynamic Parameters (Pressure, Temperature, and Conductivity) From Marine Groundwater Wells Along the West Florida Shelf Collected From November 2022 to March 2024 Associated with Field Activity Number 2022-340-FA Basic Hydrodynamic Parameters (Pressure, Temperature, and Conductivity) From Marine Groundwater Wells Along the West Florida Shelf Collected From November 2022 to March 2024 Associated with Field Activity Number 2022-340-FA
This dataset contains level, temperature, and conductivity data collected by scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) to investigate submarine groundwater discharge on the West Florida Shelf at sample sites located in three areas of Florida: Indian Rocks Beach (IRB), Nature Coast near Hudson (NC), and Venice Headlands...
Yellow perch (Perca flavescens) external tagging experiment data Yellow perch (Perca flavescens) external tagging experiment data
This dataset includes information from a yellow perch (Perca flavescens) tagging experiment, where the goal was to evaluate tag retention rates, and impact of tagging on growth, condition, and survival. Fish were held in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) over a 168-day period to evaluate four external tag types including loop, ring, streamer, and T-bar anchor tags. Data were...
Probabilistic groundwater salinity mapping results of the southwestern San Joaquin Valley derived from airborne electromagnetic and groundwater salinity data Probabilistic groundwater salinity mapping results of the southwestern San Joaquin Valley derived from airborne electromagnetic and groundwater salinity data
This data release contains the results of three-dimensional, probabilistic, categorical groundwater salinity mapping of the alluvial and Tulare aquifers near areas of oil and gas development in the southwestern San Joaquin Valley of California. These results were derived from airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey data collected between 2016 and 2018 in areas hydrogeologically...
Overflight structure-from-motion digital elevation model and orthophotos of Shishaldin Volcano, Alaska, 2024 Overflight structure-from-motion digital elevation model and orthophotos of Shishaldin Volcano, Alaska, 2024
The Alaska Volcano Observatory conducted overflights of Shishaldin Volcano, Alaska, in July–August 2024 to characterize the morphological changes to the summit area following the 2023 and 2019–2020 eruptions. Oblique airphotos were taken during helicopter overflights on July 30 and August 1. The photos were processed with structure-from-motion (SfM) photogrammetric methods to derive a...
Campaign microgravity data from Mount Hood, Oregon Campaign microgravity data from Mount Hood, Oregon
A campaign microgravity network was established between Vancouver, Washington, and Mount Hood, Oregon, in 2021 and has been measured at least annually, and sometimes more often, in subsequent years. The purpose of the network is to assess changes in gravimeter calibration, as well as to monitor potential gravity changes related to subsurface magmatic or hydrothermal processes at Mount...
