Historical and predicted water temperature, light, and phytoplankton in Lake Michigan from 2005-2016, 2041-2049 and 2091-2099 Historical and predicted water temperature, light, and phytoplankton in Lake Michigan from 2005-2016, 2041-2049 and 2091-2099

Data files contain the simulated mean daily environmental conditions in Lake Michigan for historical (2005, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2015, and 2016) and future (2040-2049, 2090-2099) years. Simulations were generated by integrating a series of climatic, hydrodynamic, and biological models. Each year's dataset predicts water temperature, photosynthetically active radiation, and phytoplankton...

Fish passage classification of the stream network in the Willamette River Basin, 1990-2020 Fish passage classification of the stream network in the Willamette River Basin, 1990-2020

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Oregon Water Science and Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Centers have developed a spatial database of the stream network in the Willamette River Basin classified by degree of obstruction to fish passage. This effort was funded by the USGS Ecological Flows program in cooperation with the Integrated Water Availability Assessments in the Willamette...

Subsurface Stratigraphic Horizon Data Collected from Oil and Gas Wells in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley and Surrounding Region Subsurface Stratigraphic Horizon Data Collected from Oil and Gas Wells in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley and Surrounding Region

This report and associated dataset, contains subsurface geologic information collected in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley. The primary data includes X, Y, Z locations of stratigraphic horizons and, to a much lesser extent, geologic structures where penetrated by oil and gas wells in the subsurface as recorded in well logs and well records. Selected oil and gas wells are not only...

One- and two-dimensional hydraulic models for the Siletz River, Oregon One- and two-dimensional hydraulic models for the Siletz River, Oregon

Hydraulic models of the Siletz River, Oregon, were developed using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydraulic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS; version 6.5). A one-dimensional (1D) steady-flow model was developed from Moonshine Park to the City of Siletz, Oregon (river kilometer [Rkm] 87.2 to 68.5). Results from the 1D model provided insights into longitudinal patterns...
