Repeat photos from long-term monitoring plots of biological soil crusts in an ungrazed grassland of southeastern Utah Repeat photos from long-term monitoring plots of biological soil crusts in an ungrazed grassland of southeastern Utah

This data release contains a timeseries (2004-2025) of photographs from five permanent locations (Stops 1-5, roughly 11x15 centimeters) established to observe biological soil crusts (BSC, a collection of species of lichens, cyanobacteria, and bryophytes). The five locations were randomly located within a larger study area established to monitor vegetation and biological soil crusts as...

The Louisiana State Legislature established the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act (CWPPRA) to conserve, restore, create and enhance Louisiana's coastal wetlands. Restoration plans developed under CWPPRA require evaluating the effectiveness of each project in achieving long-term solutions to coastal wetlands loss. This data set includes mosaicked aerial photographs...

USGS National and Global Oil and Gas Assessment Project—Larsen Basin, Antarctica: Assessment Unit Boundaries, Assessment Input Data, and Fact Sheet Data Tables USGS National and Global Oil and Gas Assessment Project—Larsen Basin, Antarctica: Assessment Unit Boundaries, Assessment Input Data, and Fact Sheet Data Tables

This data release contains the boundaries of assessment units, assessment input data, and resulting fact sheet data tables for the assessment of undiscovered conventional oil and gas resources of the Larsen Basin, Antarctica. The assessment unit is the fundamental unit used in the National and Global Oil and Gas Assessment (NAGA) Project for the assessment of undiscovered oil and gas...

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Surveys in and near Lava Beds National Monument in Northern California, USA in 2022 and 2024 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Surveys in and near Lava Beds National Monument in Northern California, USA in 2022 and 2024

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys were conducted in and around the Lava Beds National Monument in northern CA during two field expeditions, in June of 2022 and May of 2024. These surveys collected GPR data using various antenna frequencies and multiple survey styles in varied geologic terrains. Types of terrain surveyed include inside of- and over lava tubes, on volcanic deposits...

Supporting data and model archives for physically-informed models of streamflow correlation for the contiguous United States, 1981-2020 Supporting data and model archives for physically-informed models of streamflow correlation for the contiguous United States, 1981-2020

This data release provides an archive of random forest regressions predicting streamflow correlation as a function of climatic similarity over the contiguous United States, based on streamflow information from water years 1981 to 2020. This data release also contains the underlying datasets used to generate those regressions and a series of scripts that facilitate their exploration and...
