Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

The North American Breeding Bird Survey, Analysis Results 1966 - 2023 The North American Breeding Bird Survey, Analysis Results 1966 - 2023
This data product consists of a database of population change and abundance estimates for North American birds, estimated from North American Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) data. Data are presented for 546 species of birds in 4 spreadsheets containing trend estimates and annual indices for 2 time periods. Estimates are derived for each species using the 1 of 4 alternative models, and a cross
Soil-water-balance model and data used in the hydrogeologic investigation, framework, and conceptual flow model of the Antlers aquifer, southeastern Oklahoma, 1967–2022 Soil-water-balance model and data used in the hydrogeologic investigation, framework, and conceptual flow model of the Antlers aquifer, southeastern Oklahoma, 1967–2022
This archive contains the data used to (1) summarize the hydrogeology and update the hydrogeologic framework of the Antlers aquifer in southeastern Oklahoma, and (2) develop a conceptual groundwater-flow model and water budget to estimate recharge to the Antlers aquifer during 1980–2022 as part of a hydrologic investigation (the model documentation report is available at https://doi.org...
Whole-Rock Geochemical Data for Cenozoic Silicic Igneous and Hydrothermal Rocks from Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California Whole-Rock Geochemical Data for Cenozoic Silicic Igneous and Hydrothermal Rocks from Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California
This data release presents whole-rock geochemical data for a suite of silicic igneous and magmatic-hydrothermal rocks from the western Cordillera of the United States. Samples were mainly collected from Eocene to Miocene high-silica igneous rocks and other nearby igneous and hydrothermal±magmatic rocks. These data were collected to help define highly evolved magma systems that can be...
Cenozoic Highly Evolved Rhyolites of the Western Cordillera of the Conterminous United States Cenozoic Highly Evolved Rhyolites of the Western Cordillera of the Conterminous United States
The use of data analytics and digital mineral prospectivity mapping has become increasingly important to mineral resource assessment in recent years. Necessary information for many forms of such modeling are expert-validated training sets. Previous work defined occurrence and grade and tonnage models for Climax-type porphyry molybdenum deposits (Singer and others, 1986; Ludington and...
Detection data of acoustic telemetry tags from Walleye and Grass Carp in the Sandusky River and Bay, OH (2014-2021) Detection data of acoustic telemetry tags from Walleye and Grass Carp in the Sandusky River and Bay, OH (2014-2021)
This data set includes acoustic telemetry detection data and biological attributes for walleye and grass carp in the Sandusky River and Bay, OH. The detection data also includes information about the receivers that recorded the detection of acoustic telemetry tags implanted in walleye and grass carp from from 2014 to 2021. Receiver attributes include location and deployment history of...
Raman spectral parameters of pyrolyzed samples for three types of graptolites Raman spectral parameters of pyrolyzed samples for three types of graptolites
A series of gold tube pyrolysis experiments (72 hrs, 300–600 °C) conducted on a graptolite-rich lower Paleozoic marine shale generated pyrolysis residues for a comprehensive evaluation of the molecular and structural variability of three types of graptolite periderm, namely granular, non-granular, and nodular graptolite. Raman spectroscopy in combination with organic petrology and field...
