Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Lower Androscoggin Watershed Hydrologic Unit 8 Seamless 1-m DEM Pilot, 2013 to 2020 Lower Androscoggin Watershed Hydrologic Unit 8 Seamless 1-m DEM Pilot, 2013 to 2020
To advance the USGS 3D National Topography Model (3DNTM) including the next generation of the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) and the 3D Hydrography Program, USGS is producing a new one-meter resolution seamless digital elevation model (DEM) product. The project is funded by the Inflation Reduction Act. This dataset is a 1-m seamless DEM prototype that was created from several different 3D...
Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Derived Topographic Indices Across Sequoia Groves in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park and Yosemite National Park Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Derived Topographic Indices Across Sequoia Groves in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park and Yosemite National Park
This dataset provides topographic indices derived from 1 m resolution DEMs for sequoia groves in both Sequoia-Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks. All mapped sequoia groves in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park and two groves from Yosemite National Park, Merced and Mariposa, are included. For each grove, aspect, slope, the stream network, height above nearest drainage (HAND), depth...
Sea-level rise and high tide flooding inundation probability and depth statistics at San Juan National Historic Site, Puerto Rico Sea-level rise and high tide flooding inundation probability and depth statistics at San Juan National Historic Site, Puerto Rico
This dataset includes elevation-based probability and depth statistics for estimating inundation under various sea-level rise and high tide flooding scenarios in and around the National Park Service’s San Juan National Historic Site. These datasets were developed using 1-m digital elevation model (DEM) from the 3D Elevation program. This data release includes results from analyses of two...
Data Release for the The 2023 Alaska National Seismic Hazard Model Data Release for the The 2023 Alaska National Seismic Hazard Model
The U.S. National Seismic Hazard Model (NSHM) for the state of Alaska was updated in 2023 as part of the 50-state NSHM update. The new model incorporates more than 15 years of additional science since the release of the previous model in 2007 and has been reviewed by a six-member review panel and a supplementary eight-member team of ground motion model developers. This time-independent
Nitrogen and phosphorus inputs from fertilizer and manure in the Continental United States, 2002-2017 Nitrogen and phosphorus inputs from fertilizer and manure in the Continental United States, 2002-2017
This dataset contains tables of estimated fertilizer and manure nutrient inputs in kilograms to individual stream catchments of the continental United States from the National Hydrography Dataset Plus Version 2.1 (McKay and others, 2012). These data were downscaled from county-level estimates of nitrogen and phosphorus inputs from Falcone (2021) by allocating mass of applied nutrients to
Grade and tonnage data for tungsten vein and greisen deposits Grade and tonnage data for tungsten vein and greisen deposits
Tungsten is a mineral commodity critical for national security and the economy. Vein and greisen deposits host wolframite, a tungsten ore mineral that accounts for a significant portion of global mine production and resources. This data release contains updated resource information for globally distributed deposits that underpin grade and tonnage modeling efforts.
