FLASH: A Computer Program for Flow-Log Analysis of Single Holes FLASH: A Computer Program for Flow-Log Analysis of Single Holes
FLASH (Flow-Log Analysis of Single Holes) is a computer program for the analysis of borehole vertical flow logs.
Conduit Flow Process (CFP): A Program to Simulate Turbulent or Laminar Groundwater Flow Conditions Conduit Flow Process (CFP): A Program to Simulate Turbulent or Laminar Groundwater Flow Conditions
Conduit Flow Process (CFP) allows simulation of laminar and turbulent flow within a standard MODFLOW layer and/or simulation of a hybrid model (one-dimensional pipe network coupled to MODFLOW).
USGS Twitter Earthquake Dispatch (@USGSted) USGS Twitter Earthquake Dispatch (@USGSted)
@USGSted (USGS Twitter Earthquake Dispatch) distributes Twitter alerts for earthquakes worldwide with magnitudes of 5.5 and above. When citizens feel shaking activity, they often use the popular social media application, Twitter, to "tweet" what they are experiencing.
Risk-Targeted Ground Motion Calculator Risk-Targeted Ground Motion Calculator
This web application can be used to calculate risk-targeted ground motion values in accordance with “Method 2” of 2010 ASCE 7 Standard Section 21.2.1.2.
HRDB: Highway Runoff DataBase - Software page HRDB: Highway Runoff DataBase - Software page
Overview The highway-runoff database (HRDB) was developed to serve as a data warehouse for current and future highway-runoff data sets. The database can be used by transportation agencies and researchers as a data warehouse to document information about a data set, monitoring site(s), highway-runoff data (including precipitation, runoff, and event mean concentrations).
One-Dimensional Transport with Equilibrium Chemistry (OTEQ): A Reactive Transport Model for Streams and Rivers One-Dimensional Transport with Equilibrium Chemistry (OTEQ): A Reactive Transport Model for Streams and Rivers
OTEQ is a mathematical simulation model used to characterize the fate and transport of waterborne solutes in streams and rivers. The model is formed by coupling a solute transport model with a chemical equilibrium submodel. The solute transport model is based on OTIS, a model that considers the physical processes of advection, dispersion, lateral inflow, and transient storage.
The Delaware River Basin Streamflow Estimator Tool (DRB-SET) The Delaware River Basin Streamflow Estimator Tool (DRB-SET)
The Delaware River Basin Streamflow Estimator Tool (DRB-SET) estimates baseline and altered streamflow at a daily time step for ungaged stream locations in the Delaware River Basin for water years 1960-2010.
SWQDM: Surface Water Quality Data Miner - Software page SWQDM: Surface Water Quality Data Miner - Software page
Overview The SWQDM database application was developed by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration for use in the analysis of regional and national hydrologic data sets. The surface-water quality data miner (SWQDM) database application was developed to coordinate use of NWIS Web, NWiz, and the Kendall-Theil Robust Line analysis software.
PROGRAM SPACECAP PROGRAM SPACECAP
A Program to Estimate Animal Abundance and Density using Spatially-Explicit Capture-Recapture
ZONEBUDGET: A Program for Computing Subregional Water Budgets for MODFLOW Groundwater Flow Models ZONEBUDGET: A Program for Computing Subregional Water Budgets for MODFLOW Groundwater Flow Models
ZONEBUDGET is a program for computing subregional water budgets for MODFLOW ground-water flow models.
Data mining and analysis software for USGS NWIS Web streamflow data Data mining and analysis software for USGS NWIS Web streamflow data
Overview Five computer programs were developed for obtaining and analyzing streamflow from the National Water Information System (NWISWeb). The programs were developed as part of a study by the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, to develop a stochastic empirical loading and dilution model.
