United Nations scientific report assesses state of the global ocean
USGS Research Geologist Curt Storlazzi is among more than 650 international scientists contributing to the United Nation’s third World Ocean Assessment, now available in a dynamic, easy-to-navigate web format.
The United Nation’s third World Ocean Assessment is the only global integrated assessment of the world’s ocean covering environmental, economic and social aspects. The assessment provides an important scientific basis for the consideration of ocean issues by governments, intergovernmental processes, and policymakers involved in ocean affairs.
