Efforts of the Landslide Hazards Program to improve landslide coordination and collaboration.  

The National Strategy for Landslide Loss Reduction outlines the goals and strategic activities needed to facilitate implementation of the National Landslide Preparedness Act. Goal two of the Strategy describes the actions needed to coordinate preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery efforts so that they are efficient and effective across federal, state, Tribal, territorial, and local entities. These coordination efforts take shape as a work group, external assistance, an advisory committee, and a federal coordination committee. Information on these efforts are in the links below.
