We conduct impartial, multi- and interdisciplinary research and monitoring on natural-resource issues that impact the quality of life of the citizens of Hawaiʻi , American Samoa, Guam, and Northern Marianas. The Regional Office, based in Portland, Oregon, provides science center oversight and support and facilitates collaborations and partnerships in advancing USGS strategic science directions.
