Alex R. Fiore is a hydrologist with the USGS New Jersey Water Science Center serving as Groundwater Specialist since 2024.
Alex specializes in aquifer characterization, groundwater-surface water interactions, and development of hydrogeologic frameworks. He has contributed groundwater expertise in a variety of applications, including assessments of contaminant transport in fractured rock and karst aquifers, hydrogeologic controls on landslide initiation, saltwater intrusion into coastal aquifers, and groundwater availability.
