Carlyn Caldwell is a Biological Technician at USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center at Patuxent Research Refuge (formerly Patuxent Wildlife Research enter) in Laurel, MD
Her primary responsibilities are assisting at the Veterinary Hospital. She cares for and monitors both sick and well animals in Patuxent’s animal colonies. She operates the Clinical Pathology Lab and provides administrative support maintaining files, equipment and supplies as well as ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. She coordinates with multiple partners supporting research in behavior, physiology, migratory patterns and Endangered Species reintroduction.
