Collin Roland is a hydrologist with the rivers and coastal processes team at the Upper Midwest Water Science Center in Wisconsin. His work focuses on quantitatively constraining sediment transport processes and landform evolution in fluvial and coastal systems using numerical modeling and geophysical, hydroacoustic, remote sensing, and in-situ tools. He is interested in improving our understanding of floods and erosion hazards to facilitate community resilience under a changing climate.
