I am a Wildlife Biologist at the USGS Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center
During my more-than-15-year career with the USGS, my research focus has been on shorebirds of conservation concern. In addition to a strong scientific foundation, communication and partnership building have been integral to my work coordinating international monitoring efforts for threatened and endangered species. In recent years, a focus of my monitoring work has been climate change impacts, and I am currently serving a part-time appointment as Training Coordinator with the USGS Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center (NW CASC).
