Emily A Kushner
Emily is a Hydrologic Technician and Local Database Manager for the USGS Colorado Water Science Center (COWSC), in Lakewood, CO.
Emily began working for the USGS in 2008 as a Hydrologic Technician with the Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center in Orlando, FL. She started out in groundwater and surface water, eventually specializing in continuous water quality and index-velocity methods in tidally affected rivers and streams. In 2015 she transferred to the Lakewood Field Office in the COWSC where she added discrete water quality to her skillset. Emily took over as the full-time LDM for the COWSC in 2021 helping the center get USGS data into the database and to the public.
