GIS Experience

Florence has been a geographer at the Texas Water Science Center in Austin, Texas since 2006.  She has worked on numerous Geographic Information Systems (GIS) projects, including 1:1,000,000-scale hydrographic data production for the National Atlas of the United States, a wildland fire history along the middle Rio Grande in New Mexico, the Watershed Boundary Dataset, watershed modeling, and water quality geodatabase development.
