Francis Ashland


Francis joined the Eastern Geology and Paleoclimate Science Center  in October 2009 and is a research geologist in the Landslides Hazards Program. Prior to joining the USGS, he was a senior geologist with the Utah Geological Survey Geologic Hazards Program where he conducted research on landslide hazards and processes in northern and southwestern Utah. My current research focus is on characterizing the magnitude and distribution of landslide events in the eastern United States.
