Jacob T. Murchek
Jacob T. Murchek is a Geophysics Pathways Intern for the USGS Geology, Energy & Minerals (GEM) Science Center in Reston, VA.
Jacob’s research interests involve integration of geophysical and geologic data to identify mineral resource potential. Prior to joining the USGS, Jacob worked in the mining industry interpreting aeromagnetic and electromagnetic data for gold exploration in Alaska. Jacob also has experience in seismic data inversion (pre/post-stack) and seismic attribute analysis for hydrocarbon exploration.
