Kristina Gardner
Kristina Gardner is a geologist at the Florence Bascom Geoscience Center.
Kristina received a Bachelor’s degree in geology from Morehead State University and a Master’s degree in geological science from the University of Delaware. Since joining the USGS in 2021, Kristina has devoted her career to studying biostratigraphy and specializes in dinoflagellate micropaleontology. Presently, her research focuses on subterranean mapping of the Atlantic Coastal Plain, the Sierra Nevada, and the Gulf Coast.
