Madelyn Messner

My name is Madelyn (Maddie) and I have been a Hydrologic Technician with the Hydrologic Networks Section in Indianapolis since January 2019.

I perform routine visits to surface water and groundwater sites and occasionally help out the Ecosystems Science section with water-quality site visits. I assist with training new technicians in our Center and help colleagues navigate resources that are offered to them through the USGS and DOI as a Peer Support Worker. I completed the USGS Motorboat Operator Certification Course in the summer of 2021. I have a M.S. in biology with interests in aquatic ecology, environmental education, amphibian biology, and parasitology.
