Professional Experience

  • Environmental Health unit with the Nassau County Department of Health where he also aided in Covid-19 support

  • Intern with NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Marine Resources Division – assisted in the creation of a stakeholder database for the NYS Ocean Action Plan, as well as various GIS projects and field work

  • Research Assistant with the Marine Animal disease Lab, Stony Brook – assisted in large scale processing of clam samples for disease monitoring

  • Volunteer at New York Marine Rescue Center – assisted in public outreach/education via the creation of social media content

  • Research Aide with the Research Foundation of CUNY – administered surveys across Long Island for CCRUN (a NOAA funded study conducted by Stony Brook University and CUNY to gain the public’s perspective on coastal resiliency)
