Tina Palmer


Tina Palmer started her government career in 1995 as a temporary employee with a Cooperative Park Studies Unit located at UCD. She was hired on a student appointment with USGS in 1998 while finishing a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Management and then earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento in 2002. Tina became the Administrative Officer (AO) for the Western Ecological Research Center (WERC) in 2013. As the AO for WERC, Tina is responsible for a wide variety of operational work efforts. She manages business operations in support of 24 field locations, a complex reimbursable funding program and balancing the requirements of the center, agency, and Department.
