A StreamStats migration in March of 2021 provided Connecticut StreamStats with regression equations to estimate selected peak-flow frequencies at ungaged streams.
Connecticut peak-flow equations now available
The regional regression equations were derived from statistical analyses of peak-flow data and basin characteristics for 85 streamgages, incorporated a newly developed regional skew coefficient for New England, and followed guidelines for flood frequency analysis described in Bulletin 17C (link).
