Space Acquired Photography Data Dictionary
The Data Dictionaries are a set of information describing the contents, format, and structure of elements for EarthExplorer products.
- Field Definition: The acquisition date refers to the year, month, and day the image was acquired.
Format:
YYYY/MM/DD
YYYY = Year
MM = Month
DD = Day
- Field Definition: The agency that acquired the photography along with the spaceflight program or project.
Values:
NASA Apollo, Gemini, ASTP, LFC (where ASTP = Apollo-Soyuz Test Project and LFC = Large Format Camera)
NASA Skylab Satellite
- Field Definition: This flag identifies whether the entity has a browse image available or not. A browse image provides the user with a visual overview of an inventory item.
Note: Preview images are resampled from the original data and may not accurately represent the full resolution product.
- Field Definition: The percent of the frame that is obscured by clouds.
Values:
0 to 9 percent cloud cover
