Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program (CMHRP) Lidar Coordinator/National Geospatial Program (NGP) Associate National Map Liaison hosts the first Interagency Working Group on Ocean and Coastal Mapping Meeting of 2020

Xan Fredericks, Lidar Coordinator for the CMHRP and Associate National Map Liaison to Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands for the NGP, will host and participate in the Interagency Working Group on Ocean and Coastal Mapping meeting at the USGS St Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center, January 15-16, 2020.

The IWG-OCM was established in 2006 as a workgroup of the Subcommittee on Ocean Science and Technology to facilitate the coordination of ocean and coastal mapping activities and avoid duplicating mapping activities across the Federal sector as well as with State, industry, academic and non-governmental mapping interests.
