Step 2: Leave a Comment Explaining the Deletion

This section will walk you through the process of entering information explaining why a point was deleted.

Once you’ve determined that a point needs to be deleted, click on the point to open the editing window. Then, add a note to the Edit Summary field describing your reasons for deleting the point and cite any sources you referenced. This helps staff more efficiently review points marked for deletion.
