TNMCorps Structures
The 17 structure feature types that volunteers are currently collecting include schools, colleges and universities, technical/trade schools, ambulance services, fire and EMS stations, law enforcement, prisons/correctional facilities, city/town halls, hospitals/medical centers, post offices, campgrounds, cemeteries, trailhead, and visitor/ information centers.

Education

TNMCorps Structure: General School
General School: A building or building complex used as a learning center for children grades kindergarten through high school.

TNMCorps Structure: Elementary School
Elementary School: A school for the beginning years of a child’s formal education, usually including kindergarten.

TNMCorps Structure: Middle School
Middle School: A school between elementary school and high school that usually includes grades 6 through 8. May also include 5th (but not lower) or 9th grade (but not higher).
TNMCorps Structure: High School
High School: A secondary school attended after middle school that usually includes grades 9 or 10 through 12.

Technical / Trade School: A building or building complex used for vocational or technical training and often for job-specific certification.

College / University: A building or building complex used as an institution of higher learning that grants a degree at the completion of a course of studies.
Emergency Response and Law Enforcement

TNMCorps Structure: Ambulance
Ambulance Services: A building used to house ambulances and from which medically-trained staff are dispatched to transport emergency patients and administer emergency medical treatment (en route or at the scene).
TNMCorps Structure: Fire / EMS Station
Fire / EMS Station: A building that contains fire‐fighting equipment and personnel or a provider of combined fire‐fighting and rescue services.
TNMCorps Structure: Law Enforcement
Law Enforcement: A building that houses police stations or sheriffs’ offices.
TNMCorps Structure: Prison / Correctional Facility
Prison / Correctional Facility: A building or complex for the confinement of persons convicted of crimes.

City / Town Hall: A building or building complex that serves as the primary location for a local or municipal government's administrative functions.
Health and Medical

Hospital / Medical Center: A building or building complex providing inpatient services for general medical or surgical care.
Mail and Shipping

Post Office: An official facility of the U.S. Postal Service used for processing and distributing mail and other postal material.
Public Attractions and Landmark Buildings

Campground: A developed, designated site for camping in tents and/or recreational vehicles.
TNMCorps Structure: Cemetery
Cemetery: A place or area set apart for burying the dead or storing ashes.
TNMCorps Structure: Trailhead
Trailhead: The place at which a trail begins.
TNMCorps Structure: Visitor / Information Center
Visitor / Information Center: A location that provides information to the visitors who tour the place or area.
