Disease Surveillance

Our science supports the needs of Federal, State, Tribal and regional partners through a diverse research and biosurveillance portfolio. Confirmation of a pathogen often leads to development of new molecular diagnostic tools, pathogen or disease surveillance, and additional investigation of aquatic animal die-offs. These results can be integrated into models to population level disease impacts.
