March 16, 2017 – Elevation discrepancy prompts reprocessing of Landsat 7 Antarctic data

During Collection 1 Level-1 data processing of Landsat 7 ETM+ scenes covering Antarctica, it was discovered that about 2,700 scenes were processed using incorrect elevation data. 

While acquisition dates vary, the majority of scenes affected were acquired between January 2000 and January 2001. During the week of March 20, 2017, these data will be reprocessed with correct elevation information and will be repopulated on EarthExplorer. This file lists the affected scenes that will be reprocessed.
