Landsat Reprocessing Events Search Application

The Landsat Reprocessing Application allows you to discover scene and tile products that have been changed by reprocessing.

ECCOE Landsat Quarterly Calibration and Validation Reports

The USGS EROS Cal/Val Center of Excellence (ECCOE) Landsat Cal/Val Team, along with their NASA counterparts, maintains primary responsibility for radiometric and geometric characterization and the calibration and validation of the Landsat instruments and spacecrafts. This work includes both the ongoing operations of active Landsat missions, as well as the retired Landsat missions.

Landsat International Cooperator Interactive Map

The Landsat International Cooperator Interactive map allows you to learn more about the active Landsat ground stations around the world.

Landsat: Products and Services from the USGS

This visualization provides an overview of the Landsat Program and its active missions, as well as Landsat products and helpful tools and services available from the USGS.

Landsat Science Team Meeting Presentations Search

During Landsat Science Team meetings, members present their research that is relevant to the meeting topics, and are briefed by USGS and NASA staff on mission and program status. The Landsat Science Team Meeting Presentations search tool enables the search and discovery of all presentation presented at previous meetings.

Spectral Characteristics Viewer

The Spectral Characteristics Viewer allows users to determine which satellite bands are best suited for research applications.

2022 in Review

2022 was monumental for the program, including celebrating its 50-year anniversary, transitioning a fully operational Landsat 9 to the USGS team, and extending the Landsat 7 science mission. In addition to these major events, we have included an interactive map showcasing events Landsat satellites captured 2022 from around the world.

Earthshots

The surface of the Earth is always changing. Some changes like earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, and landslides happen quickly, and other changes, such as most erosional processes, happen slowly over time. It’s often hard to see these changes from ground level. Earthshots shows you how satellite data are used to track these changes over time.

Landsat Acquisition Tool

The Landsat Acquisition Tool helps determine when the Landsat satellites acquire data over specific areas of interest, displaying the paths that were acquired on any given day.

EarthExplorer

The EarthExplorer (EE) user interface is an online search, discovery, and ordering tool developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). EE supports the searching of satellite, aircraft, and other remote sensing inventories through interactive and textual-based query capabilities.

Landsat Science Team Publications Search

This Landsat Science Team Publications Search tool allows searching the journal articles, book sections, reports, and conference presentations published by Landsat Science team members since 1996. This information is updated quarterly, or as needed.
