January 21, 2015 - Recent Landsat 7 data changed

On Monday, January 19, 2015 (DOY 19) at 03:14:07 GMT, Gap Phase Statistic (GPS) errors were discovered in the compilation of Landsat 7 ETM+ Level-1 data products.

Data processing was temporarily suspended until late afternoon January 20, 2015.

GPS values are currently not being implemented into products for data acquired on DOY 19 and beyond, and are not included in the metadata (MTL.txt) file.

Investigations are continuing into this matter, and a solution and processing fix are expected soon. When this is resolved, the GPS values will be restored to the data and the metadata file, and data acquired from DOY 19 forward will be reprocessed. Another notice will be posted when more details are available.
