In this photo, seeds were drilled as part of a rangeland improvement project. The effort failed due difficult clay soils at the site. Rangelands that have low ground cover cannot support livestock and wildlife. RAMPS is working with rangeland managers to improve seeding success at arid locations across the Southwest.
