Detailed Description
Southern Alaska’s Lisianski Inlet in 2015, viewed from the deck of R/V Solstice. A systematic survey of the nearby Queen Charlotte–Fairweather Fault, the source of several major earthquakes, has produced valuable information on the fault’s structure and slip mechanisms.
