Mapping Landscape Connectivity in Florida
Lindsay Hunt (GLSC, Chesterton, Indiana) was invited to facilitate a workshop on Landscape Connectivity and Circuitscape’s potential aquatic applications. The workshop was hosted by the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission on April 8 -9, 2019, in St. Petersburg, Florida. This workshop was developed between the USGS and the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute to train their researchers from across the state on the applications of Circuitscape for mapping landscape connectivity and to brainstorm and collaborate on the potential application of Circuitscape on their aquatic research. The workshop was attended by many of the institute’s researchers and local university students.
