Field crew reports that the lava flow fed by Fissure 21 continues a slow advance eastward on PGV property, but has not moved significantly closer to Kapoho Rd. Fountain heights at Fissure 21 have declined overnight.

Fissure 7 activity has increased overnight, producing a large spatter rampart over 100 feet tall from fountains reaching 150-200 feet into the night sky. The fountains feed a perched p?hoehoe flow 20-40 feet thick.

A lava flow from fissure 7 in eastern Leilani Estates has emerged from the southeast side of the lava pond, and has turned south. As of 6:15 pm HST, this flow was cascading into Pawaii crater.

Active fountaining at Fissure 7 observed overnight. The perched pahoehoe flow fed by Fissure 7 (near Makamae St) broke out around 04:00am feeding short flows to the west.
