Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Integrated Hydrological Model for Simulating the Impacts of Spring Diversions on Streamflow in the Strawberry Creek Watershed, San Bernardino County, California Integrated Hydrological Model for Simulating the Impacts of Spring Diversions on Streamflow in the Strawberry Creek Watershed, San Bernardino County, California
The Strawberry Creek watershed, situated in the San Bernardino Mountains of southern California, features a group of natural springs known as Arrowhead Springs that have been augmented with diversions in the form of sub-horizontal borings and tunnels. Understanding the impact of these structures on streamflow through groundwater capture is crucial for understanding the impacts of spring...

These data are geochemical analyses of rock and mineral samples from interval one at Clear Lake volcanic field, California.
Hydrological, geotechnical, and landslide mapping data from the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon to support physics-based modeling of postfire shallow landslides Hydrological, geotechnical, and landslide mapping data from the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon to support physics-based modeling of postfire shallow landslides
This data release contains (1) geotechnical reports describing colluvium strength and grain size distribution, (2) hydrological monitoring data (rainfall and soil volumetric water content), and (3) shapefiles of mapped landslides, all from the Eagle Creek Burn Area in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. The geotechnical reports describe test results from two consolidated drained direct...
Data for quantifying the relative importance of survival threats to a long-lived reptile using expert elicitation Data for quantifying the relative importance of survival threats to a long-lived reptile using expert elicitation
The data in this dataset were collected during a full-day workshop in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia on 6 November 2019 with experts from multiple states within the wood turtle range using a modified version of the Investigate Discuss Estimate Aggregate (IDEA) protocol. Most of the workshop was focused on eliciting demographic rates for wood turtles for constructing a matrix population...
Genetic analysis of microbiota and mycobiota associated with Ixodes scapularis ticks collected from Wisconsin in 2022 Genetic analysis of microbiota and mycobiota associated with Ixodes scapularis ticks collected from Wisconsin in 2022
This metadata presents a dataset of bacterial (microbiota), and fungal (mycobiota) communities associated with Ixodes scapularis ticks collected from hunter-harvested white-tailed deer during the 2022 fall hunting season in Wisconsin. Deer were hunted across eleven counties in Wisconsin. Engorged ticks were collected from deer at the deer-weighing station in Fort McCoy in Monroe County...

These data files have information for hydrologic features contained in the Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD) feature datasets. The datasets include information about the 12-digit HUC polygons for the USGS Regional Integrated Methods for Base Evaluation (RIMBE) of five Integrated Water Science (IWS) study areas: Delaware River Basin (DRB), Illinois River Basin (IRB), Trinity-San Jacinto...
Seafloor Elevation Change From 2017 to 2019 at Looe Key, Florida Keys—Impacts from Hurricane Irma Seafloor Elevation Change From 2017 to 2019 at Looe Key, Florida Keys—Impacts from Hurricane Irma
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center conducted research to quantify bathymetric changes at Looe Key Reef, Florida (FL) within a 26.59 square kilometer-area over the reef proper, and surrounding areas. USGS staff used light detection and ranging (lidar) data acquired by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 2018 and...
