Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Modeled Stream Metabolism in Boulder Creek near Boulder, CO (2016 - 2018) Modeled Stream Metabolism in Boulder Creek near Boulder, CO (2016 - 2018)
This data release is associated with a journal article titled, "Aquatic-Terrestrial Linkages Control Metabolism and Carbon Dynamics in a Mid-sized, Urban Stream Influenced by Snowmelt." The data were collected adjacent to USGS stream gage 06730200 and include observed and modeled values. Dissolved oxygen, dissolved carbon dioxide, stream depth, water temperature, and light intensity were...
Data from the development and testing of a multiparameter standard solution for fluorescent dissolved organic matter (fDOM) and algal fluorescence (fChl) Data from the development and testing of a multiparameter standard solution for fluorescent dissolved organic matter (fDOM) and algal fluorescence (fChl)
Optical sensors measuring fluorescent dissolved organic matter (fDOM) are increasingly being used in water quality studies because they provide proxy measurements for dissolved organic matter concentrations (DOC). Similarly, chlorophyll-a (chl-a) fluorescence sensors have gained popularity as a means to measure phytoplankton concentration, biomass, and even primary productivity using...
Audiomagnetotelluric sounding data in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, 2019 Audiomagnetotelluric sounding data in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, 2019
This dataset includes audiomagnetotelluric (AMT) sounding data collected in July 2019 in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, in the Southern Rocky Mountain Volcanic Field, by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Along with geologic mapping, airborne magnetics, airborne electromagnetics, and magnetotellurics, the USGS collected AMT data at 26 sites along five profiles ranging from 2 to...
MODFLOW-LGR2 groundwater-flow model used to delineate transient areas contributing recharge and zones of contribution to selected wells in the upper Santa Fe Group Aquifer, southeastern Albuquerque, New Mexico MODFLOW-LGR2 groundwater-flow model used to delineate transient areas contributing recharge and zones of contribution to selected wells in the upper Santa Fe Group Aquifer, southeastern Albuquerque, New Mexico
A three-dimensional groundwater-flow model of a 73.2 square mile area in southeastern Albuquerque, New Mexico was designed and coupled to a regional (parent) model of the Middle Rio Grande Basin with the local-grid refinement numerical code MODFLOW-LGR2. This fine-gridded local (child) model was designed to simulate the response of the aquifer to pumping stresses and simulate advective...
Volatile Organic Compound and Other Analyses Associated with Laboratory Microcosm Experiments to Determine Biodegradation Rates in Fractured Sedimentary Rock at the Former Naval Air Warfare Center in West Trenton, New Jersey, 2016–18 Volatile Organic Compound and Other Analyses Associated with Laboratory Microcosm Experiments to Determine Biodegradation Rates in Fractured Sedimentary Rock at the Former Naval Air Warfare Center in West Trenton, New Jersey, 2016–18
This metadata record presents analytical results for laboratory microcosms conducted during 2016-18 as part of a study to develop a field test and numerical interpretation method to determine the effective diffusion coefficients and sorption coefficients of trichloroethene (TCE) and daughter products in the rock matrix of sedimentary rock, as well as biodegradation rate coefficients in...
Magnetotelluric sounding data in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, 2019 Magnetotelluric sounding data in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, 2019
This dataset includes magnetotelluric (MT) sounding data collected in July 2019 in the Silverton Caldera complex, Colorado, in the Southern Rocky Mountain Volcanic Field, by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Along with geologic mapping, airborne magnetics, airborne electromagnetics, and audiomagnetotellurics, the USGS collected MT data at 24 sites along five profiles ranging from 2 to 5
Lidar-derived imagery and digital elevation model (DEM) of Monroe County, West Virginia at 3-meter resolution Lidar-derived imagery and digital elevation model (DEM) of Monroe County, West Virginia at 3-meter resolution
These raster datasets are 3-meter lidar-derived images of Monroe County, West Virginia, and were created using geographic information systems (GIS) software. Lidar-derived elevation data acquired in late December of 2016 were used to create a 3-meter resolution working digital elevation model (DEM), from which a hillshade was applied and a topographic position index (TPI) raster was...
Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Monticello 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution Enhanced Terrain Imagery of the Monticello 30 x 60 Minute Quadrangle from Lidar-Derived Elevation Models at 3-Meter Resolution
This imagery dataset consists of 3-meter resolution, Lidar-derived imagery of the Monticello 30 x 60 minute quadrangle in New York and covers part of the Delaware River Basin. The source data used to construct this imagery consists of 1-meter and 2-meter resolution Lidar-derived digital elevation models (DEM). The Lidar source data were compiled from different acquisitions published...
Peak-flow frequency analyses for selected streamgages in and near the Milk River Basin, Montana, based on data through water year 2018, Part 1 Peak-flow frequency analyses for selected streamgages in and near the Milk River Basin, Montana, based on data through water year 2018, Part 1
The USGS Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center (WY?MT WSC) completed a report (Sando and McCarthy, 2018) documenting methods for peak-flow frequency analysis following implementation of the Bulletin 17C guidelines. The methods are used to provide estimates of peak-flow quantiles for 50-, 42.9-, 20-, 10-, 4-, 2-, 1-, 0.5-, and 0.2-percent annual exceedance probabilities (AEPs) for selected
