Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Mallnock, Wolfram Camp, and Andrew Curtis Scheelite and Wolframite U-Pb Isotope Data Mallnock, Wolfram Camp, and Andrew Curtis Scheelite and Wolframite U-Pb Isotope Data
Uranium and lead isotope ratios from (1) scheelite from ore deposits near Mallnock, Austria, (2) wolframite from the Wolfram Camp mine, Australia, and (3) scheelite from the Andrew Curtis mine near Los Angeles, California are provided in spreadsheet format. Data from four analysis sessions are included and separated according to both analysis data and mineral analyzed meaning 4...
Central Valley Hydrologic Model version 2 (CVHM2): Surface Water Network for Water Years 1922 - 2019 (ver. 2.1, June 2024) Central Valley Hydrologic Model version 2 (CVHM2): Surface Water Network for Water Years 1922 - 2019 (ver. 2.1, June 2024)
This digital dataset contains the monthly inflows and diversions to the surface-water network in the updated Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM2) for water years 1922-2019. The surface-water network simulates the Central Valley’s complex conveyance network through the Streamflow Routing Package (SFR2) and the Farm-Process (FMP4) at 65 inflow locations with 271 stream segments and 13
Geomorphic Mapping for the lower Middle Fork Willamette River, Oregon in 2018 and 2020 Geomorphic Mapping for the lower Middle Fork Willamette River, Oregon in 2018 and 2020
Since 2008, large-scale restoration programs have been implemented along the Willamette River, Oregon, to address historical losses of floodplain habitats for native fish. For much of the Willamette River floodplain, direct enhancement of floodplain habitats through restoration activities is needed because the underlying hydrologic, geomorphic, and vegetation processes that historically...
Applying Simulated Treatments to Bat Populations Experiencing Severe White-nose Syndrome Mortality Applying Simulated Treatments to Bat Populations Experiencing Severe White-nose Syndrome Mortality
We developed a model allowing for the application of treatment strategies to bat populations at risk of severe mortality from WNS. The model allows the bat population to exist within a network of hibernacula and updates survival, reproduction, movement, treatment applications, and treatment related disturbance annually. For simplicity, the effects of WNS are experienced across all...
Probability of nitrate concentrations exceeding multiple thresholds in shallow groundwater, Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States Probability of nitrate concentrations exceeding multiple thresholds in shallow groundwater, Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States
This data release consists of rasters representing the probability of exceeding multiple thresholds of nitrate in shallow groundwater for the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Each raster represents the results from multiple spatial-probability models that were developed using U.S. Geological Survey water-quality data in conjunction with geographic data such as land cover...
Data from Decadal Change in Groundwater Quality Web Site, 1988-2021 Data from Decadal Change in Groundwater Quality Web Site, 1988-2021
Evaluating Decadal Changes in Groundwater Quality: Groundwater-quality data were collected from 5,000 wells between 1988-2001 (first decadal sampling event) by the National Water-Quality Assessment Project. Samples are collected in groups of 20-30 wells with similar characteristics called networks. About 1,500 of these wells in 67 networks were sampled again approximately 10 years later...
