Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Depth to bedrock determined from passive seismic measurements, Neversink River watershed, NY (USA) Depth to bedrock determined from passive seismic measurements, Neversink River watershed, NY (USA)
This data release documents streambed sediment thickness in the Neversink watershed (NY) as determined by field observations and HVSR passive seismic measurements, and were collected as an extension of a previous data set collected in the same watershed (see Associated Items). These measurements were made between May 17, 2021 and May 21, 2021 using MOHO Tromino three-component...
Annual peak-flow data and results of flood-frequency analyses for 76 selected streamflow gaging stations operated by the U.S. Geological Survey in the upper White River Basin, Missouri and Arkansas, computed using an updated generalized flood skew Annual peak-flow data and results of flood-frequency analyses for 76 selected streamflow gaging stations operated by the U.S. Geological Survey in the upper White River Basin, Missouri and Arkansas, computed using an updated generalized flood skew
This dataset contains site information, basin characteristics, results of flood-frequency analysis, and a generalized (regional) flood skew for 76 selected streamgages operated by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in the upper White River basin (4-digit hydrologic unit 1101) in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. The Little Rock District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) needed...
Stream Temperature in the Lahontan Basin of Nevada and California, 2017-2019 Stream Temperature in the Lahontan Basin of Nevada and California, 2017-2019
This dataset includes hourly stream temperature data for 139 temperature logger sites throughout the Lahontan Basin Region of Northern Nevada and Eastern California. Data loggers were part a study beginning in 2017, with data available through 2019 for most locations. The spatial data layer contains site locations, geographic information, data summaries, mean August stream temperatures...
OFR 2021-1008 MODEL ARCHIVE: Soil-Water-Balance model developed to simulate net infiltration and irrigation water use for the Mississippi Embayment Regional Aquifer System, 1915 to 2018 OFR 2021-1008 MODEL ARCHIVE: Soil-Water-Balance model developed to simulate net infiltration and irrigation water use for the Mississippi Embayment Regional Aquifer System, 1915 to 2018
This model archive makes available the calibrated Soil-Water-Balance (SWB) model used to simulate potential recharge for the Mississippi Alluvial Aquifer for 1915 to 2018. The model was calibrated using monthly values of evapotranspiration and annual values of runoff and recharge for 19 drainage basins selected from within or nearby the Mississippi Alluvial Aquifer system. The calibrated...
Nutrient balances, river loads, and a counterfactual analysis to determine drivers of Mississippi River nitrogen and phosphorus loads between 1975 and 2017 Nutrient balances, river loads, and a counterfactual analysis to determine drivers of Mississippi River nitrogen and phosphorus loads between 1975 and 2017
This data release includes data processing scripts, data products, and associated metadata for a study investigating trends in Mississippi River (MR) nitrogen and phosphorus loads to the Gulf of Mexico. This data release consists of three main components: 1) Nitrogen and phosphorus balances, which account for major nutrient inputs (fertilizer, manure, waste water treatment facility...
occStan: Occupancy models with RStan occStan: Occupancy models with RStan
occStan is an R package (R Core Team 2021) providing a collection of occpuancy Bayesian models written in the Stan language as called through RStan (Stan Development Team 2021). The package is a USGS software software release. The purpose of the package is to document these models for use in USGS projects and allow easy discrimination. The package assumes the user is familiar with R and...
