Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Model Archive for an Impulse Response Emulator of Groundwater Contaminant Transport Models Model Archive for an Impulse Response Emulator of Groundwater Contaminant Transport Models
This archive contains the code and other files to demonstrate the creation and application of an impulse-response emulator for process-based groundwater flow and transport models in MODFLOW/MT3D. This includes creating a synthetic modeling environment in MODFLOW/MT3D, using PEST++ to derive an impulse-response (A) matrix (as described in White et al., 2020), using this A matrix to create...
Data and citations describing the connections between agriculture and water quality in the United States Data and citations describing the connections between agriculture and water quality in the United States
This U.S. Geological Survey data release provides the data and citations for selected tables and figures in "Agriculture-A River runs through it-The connections between agriculture and water quality". This Circular is based on the National Water-Quality Assessment Project's study of Agricultural Chemicals: Sources, Behavior, and Transport. This study focused on the connections between...
Remedy effectiveness at Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) sites Remedy effectiveness at Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) sites
Tree swallow egg and nestling concentrations of total PCBs and accumulation rate (ug of total PCBs accumulated per day) from 10 sites across the US Great Lakes at sites with different dredging histories..
Inundation Exposure Assessment for Select Islands in the Republic of the Marshall Islands Inundation Exposure Assessment for Select Islands in the Republic of the Marshall Islands
As a low-lying island nation, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) is at the forefront of exposure to climate change impacts, including, primarily, inundation (coastal flooding). Increased water levels can stem from episodic events (storm surge, wave run-up, king tides) or from chronic conditions (long term sea-level rise). Land elevation is the primary geophysical variable that...
Wetland migration analysis for relative sea-level rise scenarios in Nassau and Duval Counties, Florida Wetland migration analysis for relative sea-level rise scenarios in Nassau and Duval Counties, Florida
This dataset includes probabilistic outputs for estimating areal coverage of current wetland coverage and potential wetland migration under various relative sea-level rise scenarios in Nassau and Duval Counties, which includes the City of Jacksonville and the U.S. National Park Service's Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve. These data contain potential migration for regularly...
Corrected digital elevation model in coastal wetlands in Nassau and Duval Counties, Florida, 2018 Corrected digital elevation model in coastal wetlands in Nassau and Duval Counties, Florida, 2018
High-resolution elevation data provide a foundational layer needed to understand regional hydrology and ecology under contemporary and future-predicted conditions with accelerated sea-level rise. While the development of digital elevation models (DEMs) from light detection and ranging data has enhanced the ability to observe elevation in coastal zones, the elevation error can be...
