Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Summary This data release is a field-verified inventory of postfire debris flows for the 2021 Dixie Fire following a 23-25 October 2021 atmospheric river storm and 12 June 2022 thunderstorm. The “README.txt” file describes the fields for the “Inventory.csv” file. The “Chambers” and “Chips” rain gage data referenced in the inventory are included as: “Chambers-Oct2021-Storm.csv”, “Chambers...
Brook trout abundance in streams across southern Appalachia from 1958-2021 Brook trout abundance in streams across southern Appalachia from 1958-2021
This Data Release compiles records of brook trout abundance from 745 unique sites across the southern Appalachian mountains from 1958-2021. Records were compiled from 10 institutions, primarily state natural resource agencies. Data were collected from wadeable stream environments with standard backpack electrofishing methods, and observed abundances of adult and juvenile brook trout are...
Treatment of Aeromonas salmonicida in Lake Herring (Coregonus artedi) Using Medicated Feeds Treatment of Aeromonas salmonicida in Lake Herring (Coregonus artedi) Using Medicated Feeds
This study evaluated the use of medicated feeds to treat furunculosis infections caused by the bacterium Aeromonas salmonicida in lake herring (Coregonus artedi, Lesueur, 1818). The objectives of this two-phase study were to (1) determine if Coregonus artedi could be adequately and consistently infected with A. salmonicida by the methods of bath immersion or intraperitoneal (IP)...

This repository contains code for the analysis from a study that examined mortality and qPCR detection in 4 groups of fish: an uninfected control group, an infected control group, and two treatment groups. The main goals were to determine if their were differences in mortality and qPCR detection of the parasite among the differing groups. Mortality was addressed using a Generalized...
