Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Modeled habitat suitability for Erigeron rhizomatus (Zuni fleabane) Modeled habitat suitability for Erigeron rhizomatus (Zuni fleabane)
This raster presents the final outputs from a VisTrails/SAHM workflow to model the potential distribution of Zuni fleabane (Erigeron rhizomatus) in northwestern New Mexico. These models utilized field data of spatially thinned occurrence locations and random background locations. We included a suite of predictors related to soils, topography, vegetation cover, and geology. Details about...
Sentinel-2 ACOLITE-DSF Aquatic Reflectance for the Conterminous United States Sentinel-2 ACOLITE-DSF Aquatic Reflectance for the Conterminous United States
This dynamic data release presents an aquatic reflectance product with 20-meter spatial resolution derived from Sentinel-2 satellite imagery for the conterminous United States using the Atmospheric Correction for OLI “lite” (ACOLITE). Aquatic reflectance, noted Rhow in ACOLITE documentation, is defined here as unitless water-leaving radiance reflectance and represents the ratio of water...
Radiometric Ages and Descriptive Data for Late Holocene Acropora spp. Corals From Dry Tortugas National Park Radiometric Ages and Descriptive Data for Late Holocene Acropora spp. Corals From Dry Tortugas National Park
This data release compiles radiometric data, photographs, and descriptive collection information (location, elevation, etc.) for late Holocene sub-fossil Acropora palmata and A. cervicornis coral samples collected from the coral reefs of Dry Tortugas National Park, Florida (DRTO) from 2015 to 2023. The samples were collected under scientific research permits from the U.S. National Park...
Conterminous U.S. data used for modeling non-native vascular plant first records 1780-2022 Conterminous U.S. data used for modeling non-native vascular plant first records 1780-2022
This dataset was used for modeling the spatial distribution of first records of non-native plants in the conterminous U.S. The input dataset (alldata_input_frdm.csv) contains 4,763 rows of data, representing 1,538 counties in the contiguous U.S., 25 decades, and 3,389 first records of invasive terrestrial plant species (Williams et al., 2024) found in the US-RIIS list (Simpson et al...
Pathology of lesions in corals from the US Virgin Islands data release Pathology of lesions in corals from the US Virgin Islands data release
Stony coral tissue loss disease (SCTLD) was first documented in Florida in 2014 and has since spread through the Caribbean causing unprecedented mortality in over 20 species of corals. The cause of SCTLD is unknown, but bacteria are suspected based on regression of gross lesions in some corals treated with antibiotics. Limited pathology studies on SCTLD exist, but it is likely that...
Simulations of hypothetical CO2 leakage and hydrological plume management in an underground source of drinking water at a proposed CO2 storage facility, Kemper County, Mississippi, USA Simulations of hypothetical CO2 leakage and hydrological plume management in an underground source of drinking water at a proposed CO2 storage facility, Kemper County, Mississippi, USA
This data release serves as a model archive associated with an upcoming journal article. It contains all the input and output files from, as well as explanatory information about, numerical simulations that were conducted as part of a study of a site in Kemper County, Mississippi where deep geologic injection of CO2 has been proposed. The simulations represent groundwater flow within a...
