Deionized Water Leachate Chemistry Data from Sulphur Springs, Valles Caldera National Preserve, NM October 2023 Deionized Water Leachate Chemistry Data from Sulphur Springs, Valles Caldera National Preserve, NM October 2023
This dataset contains the leachate chemistry results from six samples collected from pond bed sediments in the Sulphur Springs region of the Valles Caldera National Preserve in New Mexico. A batch experiment was performed to evaluate the mobility of major and trace elements from the six sampling sites. The sediments were collected in October 2023.

This dataset provides tables with demographic information for permanent plots across old Sequoia sempervirens forests in Redwood national and state parks.
DEMs of Difference for selected areas of the Los Planes Watershed, Baja California Sur, Mexico 2024 DEMs of Difference for selected areas of the Los Planes Watershed, Baja California Sur, Mexico 2024
These digital elevation models of difference (DEMs of Difference, or DoDs) display topographic change from the targeted stream channel at a controlled watershed #4 and study watershed #1 within the larger Los Planes Watershed. The DoDs are computed from a very-high resolution drone DEM surveyed in 2024 and aerial lidar DEM from 2021.Several processing steps were taken to align DEMs and...
Density and magnetic susceptibility measurements on Archean and Proterozoic rocks, southern Medicine Bow Mountains, Wyoming, 2021-2024 Density and magnetic susceptibility measurements on Archean and Proterozoic rocks, southern Medicine Bow Mountains, Wyoming, 2021-2024
Rock physical property measurements were collected on outcrops to help understand the causative sources of gravity and magnetic survey anomalies in the southern Medicine Bow Mountains of Wyoming. A total of 539 magnetic susceptibility measurements and 318 density measurements have been conducted. The resulting data aid in interpretation of gravity and airborne magnetic data that are...
Detection data, positional data, and analysis of the migration patterns of five native fish species in the Sandusky River and Lake Erie, 2022-2023 Detection data, positional data, and analysis of the migration patterns of five native fish species in the Sandusky River and Lake Erie, 2022-2023
This data release contains detection and positional data from acoustically tagged fishes used to determine if fish species in the Sandusky River migrate through a location proposed for an invasive species deterrent. Five species—Shorthead Redhorse (Moxostoma macrolepidotum), White Bass (Morone chrysops), Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus), Freshwater Drum (Aplodinotus grunniens), and...
Detection of Four Runs of Telemetry Tagged Juvenile Chinook Salmon in the Sacramento River and Georgiana Slough and Associated Flow Data from 2009 to 2022 Detection of Four Runs of Telemetry Tagged Juvenile Chinook Salmon in the Sacramento River and Georgiana Slough and Associated Flow Data from 2009 to 2022
To assess the influence of run type and flow on the routing of juvenile Chinook salmon at the Georgiana Slough junction, we assembled a dataset of fish telemetry detections and flow data spanning a 12-year period. Fish detection data were obtained from the National Marine Fisheries Service’s Environmental Research Division’s Data Access Program (ERDDAP, 2023) and represent all four...
Detrital sanidine geochronology related to early Colorado River deposits, Arizona and California Detrital sanidine geochronology related to early Colorado River deposits, Arizona and California
Reported here are detrital sanidine argon geochronology data collected to better understand the early evolution of the Colorado River system. Samples were collect throughout the lower Colorado River corridor from Lake Mead to near Cibola, Arizona. Most samples are of the Bouse Formation but also include the deposits of Hualapai Wash, the Lost Cabin beds, and recent Colorado River...
Development of Western United States pluvioregions for post-wildfire assessments Development of Western United States pluvioregions for post-wildfire assessments
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Water Quality Program, through the Prototyping Modeling and Assessment of Post-wildfire Water Availability project, aims to enhance the ability to assess and predict the impacts of wildfires on water supplies. Precipitation is a key driver of flooding, debris flows, and water quality responses following wildfire. The intensity, duration, and...
Diel Dissolved Oxygen Concentrations for Streams in the Mississippi Alluvial Plain Diel Dissolved Oxygen Concentrations for Streams in the Mississippi Alluvial Plain
This data release consists of 2 files: 1. MAP_DO.csv contains continuous sensor readings for dissolved oxygen, temperature, conductivity, and pH from 58 stream monitoring locations in the Mississippi Alluvial Plain (MAP) ecoregion in Mississippi, USA. Readings were recorded at 30 minute intervals for a single 24-hour period per monitoring location. The data was collected between 2007 and...

This data release provides phytoplankton environmental DNA (eDNA), cyanotoxin biosynthesis gene abundance, phytoplankton microscopy, and cyanotoxin data collected from Ellsworth Rock Gardens in Kabetogama Lake at Voyageurs National Park (USGS site ID: USGS-482947092584401). These samples were collected three times, about every 12 hours, between September 17 and September 18, 2024...
Digital data of structural and isopach features derived from previously published Black Warrior Basin studies Digital data of structural and isopach features derived from previously published Black Warrior Basin studies
The Black Warrior Basin is a sedimentary foreland basin in western Alabama and northern Mississippi. This basin is named after the Black Warrior River and is developed extensively for coal, coalbed methane, conventional oil, and natural gas production. Its geologic genesis was due to Paleozoic tectonic events between the Appalachian and Ouachita orogenic belts. The Paleozoic rock hosts...
Digital database for the Geologic map of the Mohave Mountains area, Mohave County, western Arizona Digital database for the Geologic map of the Mohave Mountains area, Mohave County, western Arizona
This geologic database is a digitized version of the original 1:48,000-scale analog geologic map titled "Geologic map of the Mohave Mountains area, Mohave County, western Arizona", published by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1999. The Mohave Mountains area surrounds Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in the Basin and Range physiographic province. The Mohave Mountains and the Aubrey Hills...
