Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) natural color, multispectral, lidar, and hyperspectral remote sensing data products collected at dryland sites 40 km south of Moab, Utah in May 2023

In support of U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Southwest Biological Science Center researchers, and in coordination with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON), the USGS National Uncrewed Systems Office (NUSO) conducted uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) remote sensing flights over two BLM Assessment, Inventory, and Monitoring (AIM) plots at the NEON Moab

Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) Egg Diameter Estimates from the Huron River (Ohio), 2022

These data include egg diameter estimates from Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) eggs collected during bongo net sampling in the Huron River (Ohio; 41.3305, -82.5812) on May 23, 2022 near Milan, Ohio. Egg diameters were estimated from photographs using proportional relationships of pixel lengths with a known length scale bar in millimeters. Given that eggs were not perfectly spherical, egg diam

Alaska Resource Data File (ARDF)

The Alaska Resource Data File (ARDF) is a database of mines, prospects, and mineral occurrences in Alaska. It contains information compiled from published and unpublished sources from industry, U.S. Bureau of Mines (BOM), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and other government and private sources. ARDF is not a mining claims database.

Louisiana Outer Coast Restoration Project – 2022 habitat map, Shell Island

This data release includes 2022 data for the Louisiana Outer Coast Restoration Project for Shell Island. Specifically, this data release includes a detailed habitat map, general habitat map, and georeferenced imagery. These habitat maps are developed using the methods and classification scheme from Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority’s (CPRA) Barrier Island Comprehensive Monitor

Louisiana Outer Coast Restoration Project – 2022 habitat map, Chenier Ronquille

This data release includes 2022 data for the Louisiana Outer Coast Restoration Project for Chenier Ronquille. Specifically, this data release includes a detailed habitat map, general habitat map, and georeferenced imagery. These habitat maps are developed using the methods and classification scheme from Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority’s (CPRA) Barrier Island Comprehensive Mo

A geodatabase of Woodruff, K.D., and Christopher, M.J., 1982, Thickness of Regolith in the Delaware Piedmont: Delaware Geological Survey Open File Report No. 19, scale 1:24,000.

This Scientific Data Release is a spatial geodatabase containing Woodruff, K.D. Christopher, M.J., 1982, Thickness of Regolith in the Delaware Piedmont: Delaware Geological Survey Open File Report No. 19, scale 1:24,000, formatted to Geologic Map Schema (GeMS) standards. These geospatial data depict the total thickness (regolith) of both the loose, transported material and the weathered rock that

GPS Tracking Data for Caribou (Rangifer tarandus granti) from the Fortymile Herd, Alaska, 1998-1999

These data were part of a pilot tracking study of three adult female caribou from the Fortymile Herd in Alaska. The dataset is comprised of two comma separated values (.csv) files. Data includes: 1) processed (i.e., erroneous locations removed) GPS locations for caribou, received once per hour for 6 months (October 1998 to April 1999), and 2) spatial, temporal, and biological attributes of three f

Egg Membrane Thickness in 13 Waterbird Species

Eggshells of 13 waterbird species were divided in half longitudinally and the outer eggshell membrane was removed from one of the halves. Eggshell thickness was measured for both eggshell halves, both with and without the outer eggshell membrane. The eggshell membrane thickness was calculated by taking the difference between the two thickness measurements.

Tracking Data for Long-billed Curlews (Numenius americanus)

This metadata document describes the data contained in the "processedData" folder of this data package. This data package contains all data collected by the Argos System from 28 satellite transmitters attached to Long-billed Curlews at breeding sites in Oregon, Nevada, and Montana. The raw data were processed to accomplish two goals: flag implausible location estimates and decode raw sensor data.

Hydrochemistry and Age Date Tracers from Springs, Streams, and Rivers in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, 2019-2022

These data include water chemistry from springs, streams, rivers, and shallow groundwater collected in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in northern Alaska. Chemical analyses were performed for hydrochemical parameters including field parameters, major ions, nutrients, metals, stable isotopes of water, and tritium, as well as for dissolved gases useful for determining the timescale over which th

Paleomagnetic inclination data collected from Coreholes EREF-GW-1, STF-PIE-AQ-02, TAN 2336, USGS 138, USGS 139, USGS 142, USGS 143, USGS 144, USGS 145, USGS 147, and USGS 148A, located at and near the Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho

The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, conducted a study on the magnetic record contained in subsurface basalts within coreholes at the Idaho National Laboratory. Standard 1 inch paleomagnetism core samples were collected from 11 coreholes. The samples were characterized for polarity and average paleomagnetic inclinations over the entire length of the drill

MODFLOW 6 Model Scenario used to Simulate Transient Stresses, Heads, and Flows in the Regional Aquifer System of Long Island, New York, 2005-2019

This data release contains the input, output, and model code used to run a transient simulation of a previously published (Walter and others, 2020) steady-state regional model of Long Island, N.Y. The original model code was updated to MODFLOW 6 (version 6.3.0) and incorporates monthly transient stress periods to simulate conditions from 2005-2019 following methods described in Walter and others (
